Have an old car? Why not donate it to a good cause!

We have many applicants who have been approved to receive a car from Rolling Start, but we are always short on vehicles to give them. We get all of our vehicles via heartfelt donations. We accept vehicles in almost any condition, they don’t even need to be running! We will come and pick it up. And since we are a 501c3, you may be eligible to deduct your donation on your taxes.
Please get in touch with us to make arrangements.

    How we help…

We take donated cars and refresh them, sometimes with a simple tune up, sometimes a fresh coat of paint or some light body work. We make sure they are safe and ready for the road again. Here are some of the cars we have fixed up and put back on the roads for those in need:

    2003 Chevy Tracker

Friday, October 7, 2022, we presented a 2003 Chevy Tracker to Torri, a lady who has been without a vehicle for two years.  She is employed full-time but dependent upon others for rides to and from work, shopping, and appointments - not a reliable situation.  Her job...

Current Project - 2009 Lincoln MKZ

When we receive a car as a donation we check it for any potential problems. We changed the oil, checked the brakes and did routine maintenance on this recently donated Lincoln. We also replaced the rocker panels on both sides that had rust damage.

It is our hope that the future owner of this vehicle will be be able to use it for many years to come. All the work we do on these vehicles comes at a cost, spark plugs, tires, paint and oil all add up. If you would like to help out Rolling Start, you can donate through PayPal and Venmo links.

    100% Recycled Fun

Ed, one of our members has spent years wood working and carving and has recently tried his hand at working in metal. He takes old engine pieces and tools and crafts them into these wonderful sculptures.

    Working with others

The group has donated several of these works of art to the Cherokee Rodder’s annual car shows to be given away as trophies.  In exchange, they have made several generous donations to our organization which we have used to purchase parts and supplies to help rebuild the cars we provide.

A Special Thanks to Our Sponsors
